The campsite
Flat Field
This is our main camping field and has panoramic views to the Black Mountains and down the scenic Golden Valley. Half moon pitches are mown into the long, flowery grass around the outside of the field. Fire pits are free to use.
Grass in the main part of the field is left to grow long, and changes visually throughout the year according to the wild flowers and herbs are in bloom. A couple of the pitches are extra large to accommodate small groups.
Pitches are accessible by car and there is also a small parking area.
Church Field
Below the main camping field is the Church Field which has just four pitches. There are two extra large pitches, and two regular pitches mown into the tall meadow grass, all with fire pits and views to the Black Mountains.
The pitches are accessible by car.
Wood Field
Our small Wood Field is the most secluded and is surrounded on two sides by ancient woodland. There are just two large circular pitches, with fire pits, mown into the long grass.
There is no vehicle access to this field but you can park nearby in the main camping field and use wheelbarrows to transport your things. This field is a long walk from the loos and showers.
Lambing Field
A private sheltered area below the Flat Field with a large pitch suitable for a maximum of two large tents or a few small tents. There are wonderful views of the mountain from here. No vehicle access but parking is 50m away.
Small groups
Many of our pitches are extra large and and can accommodate several tents. If you would like to camp as a group, please email us and we can help you with your booking
2024 season
