Wood pastured beef

Our White Park cattle are an ancient breed that thrive purely on natural forage. Browsing tree leaves and grazing wild grasses and herbs keeps them healthy and happy. They are never fed any concentrate cereal.

They were the last wild cattle of our forests. Allowed to live a natural outdoor life, producing excellent marbled beef that’s a deep, rich red colour, high in healthy omega 3 fatty acids and has a flavour with an exciting wild edge.

Our beef is available in roasting and braising joints, small cuts and steaks and burgers made from 100% ground beef.

Wilded pork

Our Iron Age pigs are an exciting cross of Wild boar and the rare breed Large Black. We also have Large Black and Oxford Sandy and Black crosses. They are all impressive animals, rooting out bracken and scrub and disturbing the soil to allow buried seeds to sprout, allowing land to be productive whilst providing new opportunities for flora and fauna to flourish. They also create natural scrapes, holding back rainwater and building new, diverse ecosystems.

The pigs thrive on a natural diet, eating wild greenery, fallen crab apples, hazelnuts and acorns as well as roots and minerals from the soil. They are also very happy to be fed our organic bran, a byproduct of our organic flour milling and pulses grown on the farm. They are never fed any soya or cereal concentrate. As a result the meat is dark, rich and tasty like old fashioned pork and also high in omega 3 fatty acids.

Our pork is available in roasting joints, chops, steaks and our popular flat sausage made from ground pork, herbs from our garden, salt pepper and spices. These are nitrate, preservative and filler free and can be cooked just like a burger.

Organic heritage grains

We grow a range of organic heritage wheats including Red Lammas, April Bearded, Hen Gymro & Ergyng. We grow these alongside a diverse range of pulses and herbs, creating a healthy ecosystem for the plants to grow in. The grains are then stone-milled into tasty, nutritious flour. They boast an older gluten protein, different to modern wheat varieties, that some customers find more digestible.

The flour is available from our farm shop and also features in our sourdough bread and pie pastry. The wholesome grains are also made into delicious wholewheat pasta. We also supply grain wholesale for milling.
